Little Pond is a linear coastal pond located in Barnstable County, in the town of Falmouth, Massachusetts. Boston is 74 miles north and Providence, Rhode Island, is 72 miles northeast.

The closest urgent care facility is the Falmouth Hospital, four miles away. For international travel, the Boston Logan International Airport is 74 miles north. However, most residents fly in at the Barnstable Municipal Airport, 19 miles northeast in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

When heading into town, grab a bite to eat at a restaurant in East Falmouth, such as Lobo's House of Pizza, Le Bon Jour, Bite on the Go, or Pizza 1 and Sub 2.

On the Waters

Little Pond is the perfect place for the kayaking fanatic! Kayaking is one of the most popular activities in Falmouth because of the abundance of smooth coastal ponds.

Fishing is another pastime residents love, as the ocean meets the pond off of Menauhant Road. Anglers report catching striped bass, scup, and black seabass.

There are five beaches within five miles of Little Pond! The closest are South Cape Beach, Mashpee Town Beach, Bristol Beach, and Falmouth Heights Beach.

Nearby Sea Farms Marsh is an 80-acre plot of quiet woodlands, marsh, and fields for hiking and birdwatching. Take in scenic views of the surrounding coves, hike the mile-long trail, or watch out for blue herons, osprey, cormorant, marsh hawk, and various ducks.

Visit Martha's Vineyard

When you think of Martha's Vineyard, your immediate thought is a coastal oasis with never-ending beaches, bright, colorful pastels, and relaxation. Traveling by ferry is the best way to get here, having the ocean breeze on your face as you see the isle come into view.

Another highlight in Martha's Vineyard is the shopping in Oaks Bluff and Edgartown. While in Edgartown, you can pop over to Chappaquiddick Island and visit the wildlife refuge or Japanese garden.
